About the Role

As a Lead Cloud Native Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing web applications using React, NextJS, NodeJS, and other modern frontend technologies. You will work closely with our backend API developers, UX/UI designers, and DevOps engineer, Tech lead, and other teammates to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications in timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop responsive, interactive, and AODA-compatible UIs with a focus on user experience and performance.
  • API Integration: Integrate RESTful APIs endpoints, ensuring data flows smoothly between frontend and backend systems.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices for frontend development, especially in cloud-hosted applications, and ensure compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience: 5+ years of work experience in developing web applications using React and NextJS.
  • Technical Skills: Proven work experience of JavaScript, ES6+, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, as well as strong knowledge of Kubernetes technology.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to adapt to changing business needs, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving skills.
