Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at 1266192 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of tractor-trailers, including regular inspections and maintenance tasks.
  • Transport Goods and Materials: Transport goods and materials across various routes, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Cargo: Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
  • Record and Maintain Logs: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate and detailed logs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
