Job Title: Housekeeping Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Michael Katchen. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

About the Role

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 30 hours per week. You will work independently to ensure the highest standards of housekeeping are maintained throughout the property.

The successful candidate will have excellent cleaning and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and polish floors, dust furniture, and perform laundry duties to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Make beds and change sheets as required, ensuring linen closets are well-stocked.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests and residents.
  • Stock linen closets and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to prevent mess and odors.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain cleanliness and freshness.
  • Perform additional light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a sparkling appearance.
Requirements
  • Able to work independently and reliably, with good time management skills.
  • Flexible and able to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Good judgement and initiative to anticipate and meet the needs of residents and guests.
  • Dependable and honest, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Estimated salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
