The Financial Advisor Specialist will play a critical role in our Consumer Insolvency department, working with individuals and small businesses in financial difficulty. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
Key Accountabilities- Deliver high-quality consumer insolvency services, including document preparation and administration
- Work collaboratively with debtors, trustees, and other professionals to develop effective solutions
- Process insolvency documents, such as income and expense reports, and statement of receipts and disbursements
- Identify opportunities to enhance relationships with stakeholders and deliver added value through proactive communication and service excellence
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in consumer insolvency or a related field, with direct consultation experience
- Completion of the Insolvency Administrator's Course and/or Insolvency Counsellor's Qualification Course
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, and virtual software
- Working knowledge of Ascend insolvency software and Bankruptcy & Insolvency Act
