We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at BFG Medical Clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations to identify diseases and injuries, and develop effective treatment strategies.
- Collaborate with patients to promote healthy habits, break unhealthy patterns, and improve overall well-being.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and X-rays, to inform treatment decisions.
- Consult with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care and address complex patient needs.
- Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as necessary.
- Deliver high-quality prenatal and postnatal care, including childbirth and postpartum support.
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate home care services to ensure seamless patient care.
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
