About the Role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an experienced Equipment Associate to join our team. As an Equipment Associate, you will be responsible for the stationing and retrieving of equipment on our location's property. You will maintain a written maintenance schedule and service equipment as necessary to ensure it meets all set specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost and/or damaged equipment
  • Perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide) to manage inventory and track equipment
  • Communicate effectively with customers (written and oral) to provide excellent customer service
  • Work in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid Class 5 License with a clean record
  • Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred
  • Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
