The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our residential building, as well as enforcing security protocols and policies. This is a part-time position that requires strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of the building and grounds to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
- Ensure all common areas are clean and well-maintained, including garbage rooms, parking lots, and exterior spaces.
- Supervise tradespeople and coordinate maintenance work orders as needed.
- Enforce visitor parking policies and ensure fire lane access is maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including log book entries and documentation of completed work.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks as required.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time position (approx. 20 hours per week).
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of heavy objects may be required.
