About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Mountain Munchkin Daycare. As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans.
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support overall child development.
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe environment.
  • Synthesize children's situations and communicate with parents.
  • Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote child development.
  • Lead activities, such as storytelling, songs, and outings.
  • Encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observe children for potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports.
  • Plan and maintain a healthy and safe environment.

Requirements:
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking, child care center environment.
  • Reliability and strong communication skills.
