As an Industrial Controls Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the control systems that power our autonomous mobile robots. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance across all stages of product development.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineers to design, implement, and maintain robust control systems for industrial robots, adhering to stringent safety standards such as ISO 13849, ISO 3691-4, and IEC 61508.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within mechatronic systems, utilizing your expertise in software logs, analysis tools, and hardware/software tracing techniques.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality and reliability of control systems.
  • Contribute to the development of automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in industrial automation and robotics.
Your Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for industrial robots or automated machinery.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations relevant to industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or C# .NET.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
