Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Field Support Representative to join our team at Roche. As a Field Support Representative, you will play a critical role in providing front-line support to our customers, ensuring the seamless installation, maintenance, and repair of our diagnostic instrumentation.



Key Responsibilities


Our ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to think outside the box. Key responsibilities will include:



  • Providing service and support to assigned customers, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Assisting Roche Care Centre Technical Support Specialists and other teams to provide solutions and improve customer support
  • Participating in service, sales, and customer meetings
  • Performing preventative maintenance and completing technical service bulletins on assigned instruments and systems
  • Completing administrative duties, including service report orders and other tasks as required
  • Installing Roche instrumentation and integrated solutions, including site inspections and completing required documentation


Requirements


The successful candidate will possess:



  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Highly customer-centric with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work calmly under pressure and maintain focus
  • A thorough and rigorous approach to problem-solving
  • Diploma of collegial studies in electronic technology or community college specialty in biomedical engineering
  • Knowledge of instrument computer, laptop, and personal computer
  • Knowledge of Windows and common Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 2-3 years of service experience in diagnostics instrumentation troubleshooting (a plus)
  • Ability to work on standby and be flexible to travel within North America and Europe
  • Minimum knowledge of IT systems and network infrastructure
