This role requires experience in transporting dangerous goods and adhering to federal guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately maintain electronic logbooks in accordance with federal driving requirements.
  • Ensure equipment and trucks are properly secured and inspected for safe travel and load securement.
  • Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment clean.
  • Operate equipment safely and effectively to prevent injury and property damage.
  • Work in adherence to safe work practices, procedures, and traffic laws.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 3 or 5 Driver's license and clean abstract.
  • Valid Safety Tickets (H2S, First Aid).
  • Strong familiarity with Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations.
  • Proficient with electronic logbooks, permits, and federal driving requirements.
  • Reside within the Fort St. John area and have knowledge of local roads and work sites.
  • Commitment to working safely and following safety protocol.
  • Reliable, mature, punctual, and motivated individual.
  • Strong detail orientation and computer skills.
  • Solid communication and customer service skills.
