Job Summary:

Canada West Land is seeking a highly skilled Junior Land Analyst to join our team in Grande Prairie. As a Junior Land Analyst, you will be responsible for providing support to our project team in land administration, survey plan and title review, and document generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of required documentation for the acquisition of lands, rights-of-way, and crown applications
  • Working with the lead and project manager on projects for accuracy and timelines
  • Supporting a project team for permits, regulatory applications, and third-party interactions
  • Preparation of supporting land documentation, such as surface acquisition status reports, landowner line lists, consultation, and notification reports
  • Maintenance of the land database

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in land administration or relevant experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs, including SharePoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in oil and gas, forestry, municipal/government administration, or small business management (an asset)
  • Experience working with survey/construction plans, maps, and legal land descriptions
