Parts Counterperson – Budds' BMW/MINI Oakville

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Parts Counterperson to join our team at Budds' BMW/MINI Oakville. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for purchasing, selling, storing, and issuing parts to our customers and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine customer needs and accurately specify parts accordingly
  • Create and modify purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of parts
  • Issue purchase orders to vendors to order parts and maintain inventory levels
  • Record warranty parts returned and process related paperwork
  • Create special ordered parts on our dealership computer system for technicians and clients
  • Review special order parts tracking to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Process and close open invoices to maintain a clean and organized financial record
  • Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received
  • Keep accurate records of outside purchases and parts received and issued
  • Perform ongoing warehouse parts inventory to ensure accurate stock levels
  • Attend weekly department meetings to stay informed and contribute to team discussions

Education and/or Experience:

Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
