Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Trailer and SRI Repair Specialist to join our team at U-Haul. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in the repair and maintenance of our trailers and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers and vehicles, including tire and brake maintenance, and rebuilding and repairing braking systems and trailer components.
  • Secure trailers on lifts and dollies, and occasionally road-test vehicles to ensure they are safe and operational.
  • Work on a production line, using proprietary electronic pre-inspection and repair checklist to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of repair experience preferred.
  • Driver's license.
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Regular attendance.
