Carpenter Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at System Care Truro. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship in our residential renovation projects. Your expertise in woodworking and building techniques will enable you to tackle a wide range of tasks, from measuring and cutting materials to building foundations and installing roof systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
  • Supervise other workers.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in carpentry and construction.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.
