Job Title: Continuing Care Assistant

Laurel's Lake Residence Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and caring individual to provide high-quality care and support to our residents. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Help with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident's condition
  • Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to care planning
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Basic security clearance
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
Work Environment:

Our nursing home is located in an urban area and provides a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will be working in a team-oriented setting and will be required to work under pressure and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
