At Diamond Construction Inc., we are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. Your expertise will be essential in building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware. Your supervisory skills will also be utilized to oversee other workers. Furthermore, you will maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments. We are committed to creating a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees, and we provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to achieve this goal. We also offer cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers. This is a permanent position, and we offer 30 to 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
