Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Reports to the service supervisor at Toronto location and responsible for the effective repair of machinery and components at high levels of quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform full repairs and maintenance on a variety of cranes such as crawler cranes, All Terrain cranes etc.
- Maintain good working records for time, parts, supplies and outside purchases in repairs.
- Maintain and care for shop tools, equipment and vehicles.
- Communicate with others professionally.
- A technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs.
- A Journeyman Mechanics License (421A Heavy Duty Mechanic), as well as valid driver's license and clean driving record, is an asset.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of industry experience.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Good communications skills.
- Good, safe work habits.
- A good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.
- Able to perform repairs for all major equipment systems.
