Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at 883993 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating heavy metalworking machines and fabricating metal products to meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines to perform various metal fabrication tasks.
  • Product Fabrication: Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
  • Quality Control: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Maintenance: Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs to metalworking machines and equipment.
Work Environment

As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced production environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
