Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Review requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring it meets our quality standards
  • Supervise the work of other buyers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and products
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting tight deadlines and ensuring the efficient distribution of merchandise. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
