The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Rope Access Division Manager to lead our team of exterior maintenance professionals. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of rope access jobs, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

The Company

GrimeFighters is a well-established and respected building exterior maintenance business, operating across the Lower Mainland. We provide a range of services, including window washing, pressure washing, and gutter cleaning, to commercial and strata buildings. Our clients are primarily professional property managers.

The Compensation

Our compensation package is highly competitive, with a salary and bonus structure that totals $85K, assuming departmental targets are met. There is also potential for additional earnings if targets are exceeded.

The Role

As Rope Access Division Manager, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership and guidance to your team, ensuring that all rope access jobs are completed on-time, on-budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also act as Winter Division Manager during the winter season, coordinating and managing our salting and snow removal crews.

The Qualifications
  • Minimum SPRAT or IRATA level 2 certification, with the ability to obtain level 3 certification within a short timeframe (level 3 certification preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of building cleaning rope access experience (window washing and pressure washing)
  • Minimum 1 year of people management experience
  • Familiarity with software such as Google Suite, including Mail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills (reading and writing in English)
  • Demonstrated training/coaching skills
  • Good time management and organization skills
  • A keen desire to lead and motivate
  • Patience when working with people
  • Canadian citizenship, residency, or a valid working permit and social insurance number
  • Availability to work some early morning starts, weekdays, and occasional weekends, graveyard shifts, and extended shifts when necessary
  • A valid BC driver's license
The Location

You will be based at our warehouse in South Vancouver, with frequent travel to client locations across the Lower Mainland. A company vehicle will be provided.
