We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Logistician to join our team at Yamato Transport U.S.A., Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, planning and organizing logistics operations, and preparing and submitting reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee operational logistics of the organization, ensuring efficient and effective transportation of goods.
  • Plan and organize logistics operations, including coordinating with suppliers and customers.
  • Prepare and submit reports on logistics operations, including metrics on efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor personnel workloads and locations, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Keep track of shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Train other workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
