Job Summary

EFL Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including automotive systems and truck-trailer systems.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit.
  • Quality Control: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, and estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
