Project Coordinator Role at Novacom Building Partners

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Novacom Building Partners, a General Contractor based in Surrey, BC. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of various projects, working closely with project managers and other colleagues to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to multiple project managers and other colleagues as needed.
  • Issue contracts, request insurance and bonds, WCB notices, etc.
  • Manage project documentation using Timberline and Microsoft software.
  • Manage construction subtrades and suppliers, and mitigate issues that may arise in the course of a project.
  • Attend meetings with project managers, architects, consultants, and clients to manage project issues and maintain positive working relationships.

Requirements:

  • Preferable post-secondary, technical education (BCIT) or similar in a construction or industry-related program.
  • Industry experience of 2-5 years minimum, with a strong understanding of construction industry practices and procedures.
