Job Summary

Interload Truck Service Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and safety on the road.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel itineraries, make reservations, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Teamwork: Work as part of a two-person team or convoy, collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Willing to train.
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and sitting for extended periods.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
