We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Director to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations within our Poultry Plant in London.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our entire management team across multiple functions, providing timely and accurate daily, weekly cost reporting to plant management. You will also lead all period-end financial activities for the plant, interpret financial results, and act as a consultant to help identify, recommend, and support potential courses of action.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, with a strong bias for action and excellent communication skills. Previous supervisory experience is required, along with a professional accounting designation (CGA, CA, CMA). Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and advanced knowledge of MS office are also essential.
