Senior Compliance Advisor

As a Senior Compliance Advisor at Desjardins, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and coordinating the compliance framework to ensure that our organization's standards are met. You will work closely with stakeholders across various fields to ensure that our compliance measures are effective and efficient.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Complex Projects: You will lead specialized development projects, initiatives, and activities that significantly impact our organization, requiring comprehensive knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance.
- Design and Implement Compliance Plans: You will design, update, implement, and monitor complex action plans, programs, solutions, and tools that require a deep understanding of legal and regulatory compliance to balance business needs, requirements, and best practices.
- Advise Clients and Partners: You will advise clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute, and monitor strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify and Analyze Issues: You will identify, analyze, and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies to ensure that our organization remains compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and Update Policies: You will develop and update policies, standards, models, and programs to support our unit's strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring that they are compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Offer Compliance Programs: You will offer legal and regulatory compliance programs to internal employees to promote our culture of ethics and compliance.
- Represent the Organization: You will represent our unit before decision-making bodies and represent Desjardins's position when making agreements with external partners and organizations.

Requirements- Bachelor's Degree: You must hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Relevant Experience: You must have a minimum of six years of relevant experience.
- Language Requirements: Knowledge of French is required.
