Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technologist

Hatch is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technologist to join our Technologies – Technology Delivery Group in Mississauga, ON, Canada.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Technologist to participate in the design aspects of custom equipment and new product development. As a member of our team, you will work closely with experienced engineers and designers to develop innovative solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the design and development of custom equipment and new products
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate designs and ensure successful project delivery
  • Contribute to the improvement of various types of mechanical equipment and technologies
  • Develop prototypes and review fabrication and construction drawings
  • Improve technical communication and report writing skills
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a third year of college study in Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance and good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess an aptitude for working on multi-disciplinary teams and enjoy taking on new challenges
  • Commitment to achieving engineering excellence
