Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Master Metal Fabricator to join our team at Sana Aluminum Inc. This is a permanent position requiring 30 to 40 hours of work per week.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in metal fabrication.

This role offers an estimated salary of $**60,000 - $80,000** per year, depending on qualifications and location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will be working in a dusty and noisy environment.
  • Work Setting: They will be working in a manufacturing setting, fabricating metal parts and products.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, including arc welding machines and gas welding machines.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes to deliver accurate results.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Welding Techniques: The ideal candidate should possess skills in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and ARC spot.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: They should have experience with arc welding machines and gas welding machines.
Area of Specialization
  • Custom fabrication, including fencing, balconies, stairs, and railings.
  • Experience working with cast iron and other metals.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • The successful candidate should be physically capable of handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • They should possess manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, and flexibility.
