About the Job:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to join our team at Private Household. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications as prescribed by a healthcare professional
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in activities they enjoy
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Health aide certification
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
