Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at Clarenville Vet Hospital Inc. The ideal candidate will have a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry and at least 5 years of experience in the field.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing diseases or abnormal conditions in individual animals, herds, and flocks through physical examinations or laboratory tests. They will also treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery.
In addition to their clinical skills, the Veterinary Care Specialist will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 people and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
The successful candidate will be required to have licensure by provincial or territorial authorities and will be eligible for dental and health care plans. They will also have access to free parking and a permanent work term with 40 hours per week.
The work language is English, and the successful candidate will be expected to work in a veterinary clinic setting.
