We are seeking a highly skilled Woodworking Craftsman to join our team at Pacific Coast Roofing & Contracting Ltd.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction management, with experience in preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

  • Develop and implement construction plans, ensuring adherence to building codes and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and equipment usage, as well as project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth project execution, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members, promoting a culture of safety and quality.

As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for estimating costs and materials, maintaining and repairing residences and wooden structures, and adhering to strict deadlines.

Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., carpentry, construction management) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, such as CAD programs and construction management platforms.

Competitive salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
