Structural Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team at ASPECT Structural Engineers. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures, ensuring they are safe and meet the required building codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze structures using software such as RFEM, S-Concrete, and Sizer
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions that meet the required building codes and standards
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and standards
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills to stay up-to-date with industry developments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in structural design
  • Well-rounded knowledge and experience designing with wood frame, steel, and concrete
  • Ability to use software such as RFEM, S-Concrete, and Sizer
  • Working knowledge of American codes and standards
