Job Title: Motor Vehicle Parts Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Motor Vehicle Parts Clerk to join our team at L &L Mechanical Ltd. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming parts, supplies, and materials, as well as maintaining accurate records on our inventory control system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials
  • Maintain accurate records on our inventory control system
  • Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
  • Identify, label, and catalogue items received
  • Perform general office duties, including answering telephone calls and relaying messages
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain a high level of customer service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to distinguish between colours, attention to detail, and physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to operate a vehicle safely
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with inventory control software and automatic data processing (ADP)
  • Knowledge of transportation/travel information and ability to navigate complex routes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
