Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents, promoting positive behavior and social development
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social skills, fostering their growth and independence
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their cognitive and emotional development
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring children receive a balanced diet
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a safe and nurturing environment
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, offering support and guidance when needed
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in childcare
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
