Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead our team in Ottawa, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise to support the growth and development of our Foundations group.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the design team.
- Lead geotechnical engineering design and ensure adherence to project schedule and budget.
- Actively promote a positive, respectful, and results-oriented work environment that aligns with our core values.
- Assist with ensuring proper project planning and resourcing to ensure effective execution.
- Licensed member of Professional Engineers Ontario.
- Graduate degree in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering (asset).
- Minimum 15 years of consulting experience in Ontario.
- Knowledge and working experience with applicable regulations, codes, and guidelines.
- Experience in geotechnical design and preparing investigation reports.
- Demonstrated experience in slope stability analysis software and settlement and consolidation analysis.
- Competitive salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year.
