Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Accounting Controller to join our team in Toronto. As an Accounting Controller, you will play a key role in managing the financial administration of our Canadian and US entities. Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and coordinate financial administration of Canadian and US entities
* Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial statements, reconciliations, analysis, and budget support
* Supervise one Financial Analyst and provide guidance on tasks and responsibilities
* Maintain accounting records within ERP system (Maconomy)
* Prepare and assist with annual audit, budget preparation, and forecasts
* Develop and implement processes to improve financial administration efficiency

Requirements:

* Final year of CPA studies or CPA designation
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven accounting environment
* Proven track record of leadership and supervisory experience with strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software applications
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
