About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Asbestos Removal Specialist to join our team at Winnipeg Dig & Demolition Inc. As an Asbestos Removal Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe removal of asbestos-containing materials from construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure safe access to work areas.
  • Assist in Demolishing Buildings: Participate in the safe demolition of buildings, including the removal of asbestos-containing materials.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills and Other Contaminants: Respond to and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants on construction sites.
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
