Job SummaryWe're seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Messaging Components team. As a key contributor to our team, you'll help us evolve critical components of our systems, building and optimizing for massive scale. You'll work on tackling significant engineering challenges in a highly collaborative and skilled team, taking projects from concept to production.
Responsibilities- Support sending messages for clients worldwide, utilizing billions of asynchronous jobs, tens of billions of queries on MongoDB and Redis, and infrastructure spanning cloud providers across the globe.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Canvas, our flagship product, and help us build and optimize critical components of our systems.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled team to tackle significant engineering challenges and drive architectural decisions.
- Work on building and optimizing for massive scale, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, Java, MongoDB, microservice architecture, distributed systems, and agile processes.
- Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Self-starter with great communication and organizational skills, with experience working in a team environment.
- Bonus: Professional experience building software at scale, with a passion for user experience.
