Job Overview

This role is responsible for managing the commercial properties of the Government of Canada - Central. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire and supervise a team of rental agents and building superintendents to ensure seamless property management.
  • Negotiate or approve lease agreements on behalf of the property owner, ensuring all terms are met.
  • Oversee the maintenance and renovation of properties, coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Monitor progress and cost of work, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Compile and maintain accurate records of operating expenses and income, preparing detailed expense and income reports.
  • Respond promptly to client and tenant inquiries, ensuring exceptional customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in property management or a related field.

Working Conditions:

This is an on-site position, requiring the ability to work at the physical location of the properties.
