We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our hotel team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waterloo/St. Jacobs.

About the Job

This is a full-time, permanent position with an estimated salary of $32,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas
  • Restock linens, towels, and toiletries as needed
  • Empty trash and recycling bins, and replace liners
  • Operate heavy cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including dusting and polishing furniture
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • No formal education requirements
  • Experience in housekeeping or a related field an asset
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and physical demands of lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
