Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Pro-Care Health Services LTD.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities, promoting socialization and physical activity.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, demonstrating quick thinking and calmness under pressure.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently, using wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines, promoting physical activity and mobility.
  • Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, as required.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, walking, and lifting.
