Job Title: Analytical Chemistry Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Analytical Chemistry Technician to join our team at M&D PH Natural Health. Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests and analysis using various physical and chemical separation techniques, maintaining laboratory equipment, and operating laboratory apparatus. They will also be involved in setting up chemical experiments, tests, and analyses, as well as compiling records for analytical studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct tests and analysis using spectroscopy techniques, chromatography, and other physical and chemical separation techniques.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and operate laboratory apparatus.
  • Set up chemical experiments, tests, and analyses, and use techniques such as microscopy.
  • Compile records for analytical studies and assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards.
  • Assist in developing standards, health, and safety measures, and conduct safety training programs.
  • Prepare solutions of gas or liquid, reagents, and sample formulations.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
