Job Summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Services Director to lead our Project Management Office (PMO) in Canada. This individual will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, continuous improvement, margin transformation, and governance of the Stage Gate process. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.

About the Role

This Supply Chain Services Director will lead a team of Project Managers (5) and Product Data Planners (2), overseeing the Commercialization, Stage Gate, Secondary Display planning, Continuous Improvement, Capital, and Cost savings processes. The successful candidate will act as a key partner to Commercial Sales & Marketing teams, supporting the Commercialization and Product Life Cycle process to deliver measurable results.

  • - Project Management: Oversee project delivery, resource planning, management, monitoring, and reporting of project outcomes and statuses.
    - Enhance project management maturity and capability within the organization by leveraging expertise to provide advice, guidance, monitoring, assurance, advocacy, and education.
    - Develop and implement organization-wide project reporting systems, emphasizing value-added insights, proactive risk identification, and timely resolution of issues.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  • - Drive continuous improvement by developing, implementing, and maintaining a pipeline of cost reduction initiatives that deliver measurable returns.
    - Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal Project Management, Continuous Improvement, and cross-functional teams to share resources, achieve business goals, and leverage best practices across the organization.
    - Review programs and projects for deliverability including adequate resourcing management (people & dollars) and governance procedures and accuracy of financial estimates.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • - Minimum 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Stage Gate, Supply Chain, and Operations.
    - Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, especially in the front end of the project lifecycle.
    - Strong understanding of business and innovation strategy, dedicated to cultivating an agile yet structured environment to drive ambitious project goals and expedite speed to market.
