Job Title: Long Term Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Long Term Care Aide to join our team at MacLeod House Baddeck. As a Long Term Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as eating, walking, and transferring.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, Immunization records, and Vulnerable sector check.
  • Own transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
