Practical Nurse Educator

The Licensed Practical Nurse, HCAP Educator will utilize evidence-based practice and adult education theory to provide progressive education programs and facilitate learning objectives and activities.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize education technology and established training materials to conduct formal/informal presentations, in-service sessions, and demonstrations of work methods and procedures.
• Assess program participants to determine if they achieved program learning objectives.
• Work with internal and external partners to ensure overall understanding of the Health Career Access Program.
• Participate in evaluation, policy, quality improvement, and risk management activities.
Requirements:
• Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Three (3) years' recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical area, including one (1) year related teaching, leadership, or preceptorship experience.
• Valid BC Driver's License.
