Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional care team.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes, utilizing sound professional judgment and best practice guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements:
- Current Certificate of Registration in the General Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- 1 year of recent acute med/surg experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an approved nursing program.
- Recent completion of a physical assessment course.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Member of the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO)/Canadian Nurses Association (CNA).
