Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Motion Fitness. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be required to perform a variety of tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, as well as dusting furniture and vacuuming carpets.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and tidy space
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to clients and staff
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas as required
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Provide basic information on facilities and services to clients and staff
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy environment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Dependability and organized
  • Team player with good communication skills
