Pipefitter Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing piping systems, as well as troubleshooting and improving Mill infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to Celgar's World Class Safety Program
* Install, maintain, and repair piping systems
* Troubleshoot piping systems to correct and improve Mill infrastructure
* Execute prescribed maintenance schedules in a safe and effective manner
* Utilize knowledge of various pipefitting techniques and materials
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers
* Familiarity with pipe threading, soldering, welding, and plumbing techniques
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces

Qualifications and Experience:

* Interprovincial Red Seal Endorsement (RSE) as a Pipefitter
* Maintenance experience in a heavy industrial setting
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with supervision, tradespersons, and operations to achieve outstanding results
* Knowledge and understanding of best practices in preventive and predictive maintenance
* Experience using computers and computer programs, CMMS

Salary and Benefits:

* The salary for this position is $47.25 per hour
