Logistics Coordinator

Highstar Healthcare Inc. is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to oversee the operational logistics of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and operations management, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute logistics activities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile orders and instructions received from customers.
- Oversee operational logistics of the organization.
- Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization.
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Perform general office duties.
- Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units.
- Estimate type and quantity of materials and labour required for production, construction and other projects.
- Monitor production progress.
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
- Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations.
Requirements:
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Ability to work independently.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Work under pressure.
Work Setting:
- Head office.
Supervision:
- 3-4 people.
